Ticket to Work is a program of the Social Security Administration (SSA) that gives people who receive Social Security disability benefits support to find a job. A list of organizations that can serve as resources to “Ticket holders” is listed below. (Go directly to the Employment Network listing.)

This web site serves as a central clearinghouse of up-to-date information and links about Ticket to Work activities in Maine.
Maximus, Inc.
Maximus is the private company chosen by SSA to manage the Ticket to Work Program. Contact them for information about the program, your ticket, and for information about providers (“ENs”) in your area.

Maine Medical Center Department of Vocational Services
Maine Medical Center has a "Work Incentives Planning and Assistance” program that provides benefits counseling to people receiving Social Security disability benefits who are currently employed or are interested in work.

Maine Disability Rights Center
The Maine Disability Rights Center has a Maine Protection and Advocacy for Beneficiaries of Social Security (PABSS) project to provide advice and technical assistance about rights and benefits in obtaining vocational, employment and other support services.

Employment Networks (ENs) Listing
ENs are the service agencies to which a person with a disability who is a “Ticket holder” can assign his/her Ticket voucher, thus receiving employment services. A list of ENs that are located and operate in Maine follows:
