New Support to Create More Employment Opportunities for People with Developmental Disabilities

Maine's Office of Adults with Cognitive & Physical Disabilities Services has developed a new waiver program called the Support Waiver. This waiver began in October 2007. The Support Waiver has three categories of services that can help an individual with developmental disabilities maintain employment, after he or she has been through the Vocational Rehabilitation process:

Making Employment Work for ME is a new web site that provides information on the support waiver and on many activities that are being planned to help get this new program up and running.
