Chart: Full-time/Full-year Employment
In 2007, just over one in five working-age adults
with disabilities were employed for more than 35 hours per week (full-time)
and worked for more than 50 weeks (full-year). From 2005 to 2007,
the estimated proportion of adults with disabilities working full-time/full-year
stayed about the same, between 20 and 23 percent. The rate of full-time/full-year
work among adults with disabilities remains less than half of that
for adults without a disability.
